Your stained glass piece has been cleaned and polished. Over time variations on the color of the lead work can occur. This is natural. If so desired you can clean your piece with Dawn detergent and polish it with a soft cloth and carnuba wax. Do not ever use chemical cleaners on your stained glass piece. (Windex included!) Also sometime scale will present as white spots on the lead lines. This is also naturally occurring and can easily be cleaned off if it's bothersome.
* Please note your art is made of lead and lead is harmful if ingested. Please wash your hands after handling and do not allow the piece to ever get into the hand or mouth of a child. As my glass teacher once said, " Don't eat Cheetos and do stained glass."
* Don't trust a suction cup. It's very tempting to hang a suncatcher on a suction cup. Glass breaks and suction cups are known to fail with varying temperatures of windows. It's best to safely hang your pieces with a small nail and a monofilament line or a thin wire down from the window frame.
* If your piece has any hand painted areas on the glass, it's best to not scratch or rub those areas. Its glass paint on glass and can chip if disturbed. Just hang and enjoy! Lightly dust when needed.
